According to political watchers, this move has been long expected. Information reaching us indicates that the former Chief of Army Staff, Major-General Azubuike Ihejirika (rtd) has been arrested by operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS). He was nabbed last night at his mega residence in Maitama, Abuja in connection with multi-Billion Dollars arms deal money linked to Goodluck Jonathan's former NSA, Sambo Dasuki.
A source in Abuja told Sodeeqstar blog that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, also has a big file of evidences against him and will move in once the DSS gives them a green light.
Already a mini estate linked to him in the heart of Abuja said to be worth Billions of Naira has been seized.
