Football: Mourinho Will Not Be Sacked Anytime Soon

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will not be sacked during and after the International break. Naijacreep reports. Naijacreep understands that owner Roman Abramovich is not looking to replace Mourinho now due to lack of viable replacements. Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone, the two top candidates linked with the job are all not available till the end of the football calendar next year. Earlier, Abramovich backed the under-fire Mourinho with an unprecedentedvote of confidencein October, however, subsequent results has not improved and Chelsea are 3 points closer to therelegation danger zone. Mourinho has been at the center of controversies this season, though most are of his own doing. The Portuguese was absent from Chelsea¡¯s last game at theBritannia stadium, as he was serving a one-match stadium ban for protesting to referee Jon Moss at halftime in the fierce encounter at Upton Park that saw Andy Carroll come off the bench to score the winner for West Ham.
