personal customers with qualifying
wireless plans 2GB of free data - 1GB of
free data on their current billing cycles and
another 1GB of free data on their next
billing cycles - simply by visiting the
Verizon website.
To get your free data, visit Verizon's
promotion page - the company calls it
"Thanksgetting" - and click the "Get it now"
link. You will be directed to log in to your
account and accept the free data.
This Thanksgiving present -- or promotion,
depending on your point of view - seems
to be intended to draw people's attention
to other offers that Verizon is promoting
along with other businesses, and which go
into effect on November 25.

These offers
are displayed prominently on the free-
data-promotion signup page mentioned
above.

The 1GB Data offer ("Promotional Data")
can only be redeemed one time per
account by VZW customers on a qualifying
plan.

Must have a valid VZW Mobile
Telephone Number. Promotional Data will
be added to your existing monthly data
allowance, and applies to data usage after
Promotional Data redemption date.


Promotional Data will be shared by all lines
on an account. Data usage applies for app
downloads/use.
Within minutes of my signing up, the
widget on my phone that shows my
current usage and total monthly data
allowance reflected the extra available
gigabyte.
