Guardiola Dumped Arsenal For Manchester City

Reports from UK say that Bayern Munchen coach, Pep Guardiola actually wanted to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal before changing his mind and eventually signing for Manchester City.

According to ace broadcaster with CNN, Piers Morgan, Guardiola was keen on a move to the Emirates and had eyed up club legend Thierry Henry as his assistant before opting for Manchester City.

Morgan claims on his Twitter handle that he got the news “on very good authority”.

But Arsene Wenger has stayed put and Guardiola instead has agreed a move to Manchester City. Morgan tweeted: “I was told on VERY good authority last night that Pep Guardiola wanted to come to Arsenal with Thierry Henry as his No2. #afc.”

Arsenal sunk to a 2-1 defeat at home to Swansea last night, putting more pressure on boss Wenger. He’s now lost the last three games on the bounce and large section of the Emirates crowd have turned against him.
