Judge orders to free teenage boy charged with murder of four people after the real killer confessed

A judge on Tuesday threw out the murder convictions of Davontae Sanford who pleaded guilty to killing four people at age 14, a case which a lot of people had doubted for years especially after a professional hit man stepped forward and took responsibility for the murders at a drug den.

Judge Brian Sullivan acted at the request of the Wayne County prosecutor's office and lawyers for , Sanford who's now 23.

Sanford was arrested and convicted for murder in the 2007 fatal shootings of four people at a Detroit house. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder at age 15, because he was trying to please the Police. But after he got arrested, he withdrew his confession but it was already too late. Since his arrest, he had been trying to undo that plea for years, especially after hit man Vincent Smothers confessed to the murders.

Vincent Smothers insists that he killed the four people in a drug house and that Sanford had no role in it. Judge Sullivan said Sanford who is still in a prison in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, will be released on bond and all charges against him will eventually be dropped.

The agreement signed by prosecutors says the state police found major problems in the work of a Detroit police official who investigated Sanford after the four homicides.

Smothers is in prison after pleading guilty to eight other murders.

Good News!!! Barcelona Star, Lionel Messi Triumphs In Court

Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi has won his court case in Spain in a libel suit he filed against a journalist that wrote an article against him in Spain.

According to ESPN ,reports from Spain say that Messi has been awarded nearly €65,000 in damages in a libel action and he has donated the money to charity.

The case was taken after a Madrid-based journalist, Alfonso Ussia, wrote an article in La Razon after Messi’s Argentina lost to Germany in the 2014 World Cup final.

Ussia had criticised Messi’s form and made reference to the hormone treatment the forward received as a youngster by describing him as “Nandrolono.” The Audiencia Provincial de Barcelona court found that the article went outside the bounds of an opinion piece and ruled that La Razon, its editor Francisco Marhuenda and Ussia must pay €64,590.79 to the player. The money is to be donated to the charity Doctors without Borders.

The judgment said the views expressed in the article are “unnecessary and impertinent for the exposition of the ideas or opinions that the journalist attempts to transmit in the article, and are objectively insulting and offensive bearing in mind the dimension of the player’s public image and the pluralism, tolerance and open spirit that should reign in a modern society.” Messi left his home city of Rosario to join Barcelona aged 13 as the Catalan club were prepared to pay for the $900-a-month hormone treatment he needed to grow sufficiently to become a professional player.

This treatment did not breach any regulations and the 28-year-old has never failed a doping test over the course of his career.
