(1a) Data handling is the way of collecting facts and can be treated in order to achieve a positive goal.it is the process by which information collected for a given purpose such as research or planning needs to be stored, used and done away with after it is no longer needed.
Data handling ensures the integrity of research data as it addresses concerns relating to confidentiality,security and preservation/retention of research data.for data integrity is of primary concern to ensure that records are not altered,erased,lost or accessed by unauthorised users.
