Is it true? Senator Ben Bruce Used The Bank Loan To Acquire A $5m Mansion In US

An investigation by SR has revealed that Senator Ben Murray-Bruce may have illegally diverted the loan he obtained from Union Bank of Nigeria for business to purchase a posh property in Beverly Hills, California in 2007.

Ben Bruce has been in the spotlight lately after the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) on June 23, 2016 seized several of his Silverbird media companies for failing to make payments on billions of naira in loans.

The self-proclaimed Commonsense Senator was one of the most vocal senators during the #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira, a movement that criticizes those who needlessly import foreign goods.

He touted his reputation for building businesses in Nigeria to champion the importance of domestic investment in goods.

But several banking sources in Nigeria told SR that the N11billion loan Ben Bruce took out from Union Bank around 2007 was supposed to be used to construct the Abuja Entertainment Center.

According to the sources, instead of using the loan to fund his Nigerian business operations, he diverted it to purchase an opulent property in the Beverly Hills area of Los Angeles and London.

Los Angeles County Property Assessor’s Office, the Records office, and the Special Investigation unit haveconfirmed to SR that the Nigerian senator from Bayelsa State purchased a property on August 6th, 2007 and remains the owner. The address is 605 North Camden Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.

A public records search, also confirmed by municipal employees in Los Angeles County, assessed the value of Senator Ben Bruce’s land at $3.1million. The value of the mansion and other structures at the property was estimated at no less than $795,000.

The senator’s Beverly Hills swanky property has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a swimming pool and is estimated to be at least 2,777 square feet. Assessments of real estate platforms show that the property is worth $5million as of today.

SR said they also obtained a bond receipt document that confirmed Ben Bruce’s ties to the property.

The document also listed Stella Albright as having a connection to the property. A public records search of Mrs. Albright found that she was a board member of a company, Dream Magic Studios LLC, alongside Senator Ben Bruce.

This Beautiful Lady was Killed by Her Husband

Marriage is sweet but you have to be committed and get close to God in prayer. Your beauty and any other trivialities stops to matter once you get married. That was how many of our mothers and grand mothers were able to succeed in it. They were very prayerful and were the ones taking their husband to church.

But what do we have today? Competition in marriage, as if they got into marriage to fight for who is right and who is wrong. The man you are living with needs God. The woman you marry needs God too.

It is sad that this beautiful lady is dead, killed by her own husband... He then jumped to his death. It is apparently a case of murder-suicide, according to police. The man identified as Reuben allegedly killed his wife, Puleng during an argument.

According to Daily Sun, the man later threw himself off a crane and plunged 400 metres to his death.

Narrating the incident, the wife's mother, 60yrs old Susan Mahlatse, said Reuben 42, and Puleng 35, lived in the same house and both worked on shift [in the same company]. Susan said on Friday Puleng arrived at work for the night shift and Reuben was about to go home.He asked to speak to her, and when they were alone in the office an argument broke out. Reuben allegedly stood over her and shot her twice in the head.

When cops arrived, he ran towards a crane. He climbed to the top and jumped, falling to his death. Susan said Reuben and her daughter always fight over minor issues; like car, feeding and others. She said Puleng’s two-year-old daughter keeps saying she is waiting for her mum. “I lie and tell her Puleng isn’t home yet,” Susan said. - The absence of the God factor in a marriage is a mistake that usually don't end well. Sigh!

EFCC Traces 3 Mansions Linking Fayose’s Man with the N4.7b Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has traced three posh houses to an associate of Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose. The big houses, one in Abuja and two in Lagos, are believed to have been bought with part of the N1.219bn that was illegally released for the 2014 governorship election, from the office of the former National Security Adviser (NSA) to Fayose.

He has denied having any dealing with the office while Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.) was in charge.

The cash, according to detectives, was from the N4.745bn allocated to a former Minister of state for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro by the NSA as a war chest to win the governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states. The EFCC has facts that the man acted as a front for Governor Fayose, who is now under investigation. The agency may seize the properties under the Interim Forfeiture Clause of the EFCC Act. Investigators have established a link between the N1.29billion and the three mansions.

A source said: “We have been able to trace the 3 mansions in Abuja and Lagos to a key associate of Fayose. Our investigators have retrieved relevant documents, including the mode of payment for the houses.

“Part of the N1.29billion credited to Fayose was used for the acquisition of the mansions. We are suspecting that the associate allegedly acted as a front for the governor. We will certainly invoke the appropriate laws to seize the assets after conclusion of investigation.”
