According The Nation, the bribe was for the purpose of compromising the result of the elections which the party’s presidential candidate Dr. Goodluck Jonathan lost to Muhammadu Buhari of the APC. Fourteen directors of four oil firms suspected of substantially bankrolling the N23.29b poll bribery scandal have also been identified by EFCC, as some ex-Ministers arrested were battling for bail. They are: ex-Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, Nurudeen Muhammad (N500,000,000) and ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs in the last dispensation, Ambassador Aminu Bashir Wali (N950,000,000). Some of their former colleagues are said to be shocked by the alleged involvement of the ex-ministers in the disbursement of the slush funds. Well placed sources said: “EFCC chairman Ibrahim Magu and his crack team have gone far in tracing more than N15billion of the N23.29billion shared to PDP leaders and INEC officials in the six zones to influence election results and stop APC from being declared winner of the 2015 presidential election. “Some of the beneficiaries have started refunding the cash given to them. We have the list of all beneficiaries from Fidelity Bank. This is one of the reasons why we kept the MD of the bank and Head of Operations in custody. Our priority is to recover the bribe cash. “By the time we get reports from all the geopolitical zones, we would have tracked down the bribe sum. Findings confirmed that the poll bribery cash was shared between February and April 2015 in a desperate and untidy manner. “Our concern is not about any party but the use of proceeds from stolen oil to bribe INEC officials.” The $115million (N23.29b) bribery scam was allegedly facilitated by the immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke. One of the 14 bank directors has been quizzed by the anti-graft commission. The big oil barons are believed to have contributed $88.35million of the $115million (N23.29b) remitted to Fidelity Bank by the ex-Minister. Investigation revealed that the EFCC obtained the list of 14 directors of the firms from the CAC. A source said: “From the list obtained from CAC, about 14 directors of the four oil firms involved in the bribery scandal have been identified. “We are screening the list to know the roles played by each of the directors in the bribery offer. We will invite these barons for interrogation any moment from now. We will also release their names to the public soon. “Some of these directors or owners of the oil firms are stakeholders in a few other oil companies which were highly favoured by Diezani.” Meanwhile, the camp of ex-ministers in the administration of Jonathan was split following revelations on how huge cash was disbursed to some of their colleagues for the 2015 poll. A reliable source in the camp said: “I am just ashamed to read about this scandal because I never knew such a scandal was being perpetrated. It is mind-boggling. “Some of these ministers implicated in the bribery were pretentiously running to their colleagues to beg for money during and after the general election. They thought they had covered their track.” Another ex-Minister said: “I am shocked beyond words. I was in the cabinet but more of a passenger. Even the ex-President was not fair to some of us.”

Pastor Felix Libarty to Tiwa Savage, Go Back To Your Husband, It's The Right Thing

In a chat with Vanguard, the pastor said: “It’s one thing to be famous and it’s another to know how to manage fame.I want her (Tiwa Savage) to go back to her husband immediately because there is no divorce spiritually except when the man is no more.
I want her to know that if God wants to announce any woman that is matured, He will always match her with a man. In this case, that is what God has done for her.
“I want Tiwa Savage to begin to understand that whatever is happening to her now is an attack from the pit of hell. Her husband is in deep trouble.
I am sure that his pastor has not been able to tell him that he’s under attack. The devil may not attack you directly, it will attack your partner. Spiritually, as I am seeing it, her husband (TeeBillz) is under attack.Every behaviour her husband is exhibiting now is manipulated.
The Bible says, you have to be there for your husband, and your husband will be there for you.
Whatever that is going on now, remains the fact that your husband is being manipulated by spiritual forces that doesn’t want you to grow. And by the time you walk out of your marriage, you are giving the devil the opportunity to destroy your life completely,” he counselled.
Buhari Orders Military To Crush New Niger Delta Militants

Mr President gave the directive following the group’s attack on Chevron’s platform in Warri, Delta State, on Thursday and its blowing up of pipelines linking Warri and Kaduna refineries on Friday.
Following the attack on the Okan offshore production platform on Wednesday by the militants, Chevron said it had lost about 105,000 barrels of oil production in three days.
According to Punch, the oil major said the incident had affected about 35,000 barrels per day of its own net crude production, or about 15 per cent of its output in the country.
“Approximately 35,000 bpd of Chevron’s net crude oil production in Nigeria are impacted,” AFP quoted a Chevron’s spokeswoman, Isabel Ordonez, as saying in a statement.
The General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs, Chevron Nigeria Limited, Mr. Deji Haastrup, confirmed the figure.
He said, “This is a very difficult time for the country because it needs the revenue it can get from oil production. Incidents such as this have the potential to impact that. We do hope that it does not seriously affect the country.” Workers on the pipelines said before the attack, they had pumped 28,000 barrels from Escravos terminal.
“Both Warri and Kaduna refineries also got a delivery rate of 903,000 barrels just before the attacks,” the workers who spoke on condition of anonymity said.
Following the attacks, there were about 10 military air patrols over the pipelines on Saturday.
It had been difficult for fire fighters to quench the fire from the bombed pipelines. “The fire is still on and it’s going to be hard to stop it because it’s huge,” the workers said on Saturday night.
It was learnt that following the attacks, which has the potential of affect the revenue of Nigeria, Buhari had instructed the Army, Navy and Air Force to stop the activities of the militants immediately.
A presidential aide, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “The President gave special instruction to the military, especially to the Chief of Naval Staff, that this ugly development of vandals in the Niger Delta should end immediately.
“What they are doing is complete economic sabotage; it is economic terrorism.”
Wao Handless 7years Old Girl Wins Handwriting Contest

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, Anaya Ellick from Chesapeake, Virginia, does not use prosthetics. To write, she stands to get the proper angle, holding a pencil between her arms.
Her principal, Tracy Cox from Greenbrier Christian Academy, described her as an “inspiration.” “She does not let anything get in the way of doing what she has set out to do. She is a hard worker and has some of the best handwriting in her class,” Cox said.
The girl reportedly beat 50 other competitors to get the special-needs category prize at the National Handwriting Contest.
This category rewards students with an intellectual, physical or developmental disability.
Competition director, Kathleen Wright, told ABC News that her “writing sample was comparable to someone who had hands.”
Sponsors of the contest Zaner-Bloser said they planned to award each student $1,000.
PDP Will Destroy Soon With What Sheriff Is Doing — Ex-ministers

They said that unless the controversial National Chairman of the party, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff retraced his steps from contesting at the convention, the coffin of the party would be nailed at the event.
The convention, slated for May 21 in Port Harcourt, is to be used to elect national officers of PDP.
At the last meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), the offices were shared among the six geo-political zones.
However, of all the offices, party members are miffed that the office of the national chairman was zoned to the North-East where Sheriff hails from.
Sheriff, a former governor of Borno, is the formidable candidate for the position from the North-East.
Apart from the anger that the office was primarily zoned to Sheriff who is a new entrant to the party, majority of the members of the party are also complaining that the same North-East has produced the last two national chairmen of the party.
These former chairmen are Bamanga Tukur and a former Governor of Bauchi State, Adamu Mu’azu.
The former ministers said that Sheriff must drop his ambition or he would be the last national chairman to lead a united PDP. Spokesperson for the ex-ministers, who is a former Minister of National Planning, Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman, said this while speaking with two journalists in Abuja on Saturday.
He argued that any attempt by Sheriff to consolidate his position at the convention would spell doom for PDP, adding that most stakeholders would dump the PDP and "allow it to continue to swim in impunity"
