Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, paid a visit to Borno state over the weekend where he met with some Nigerian Soldiers during their parade at their headquarters in Bama, Borno state. Hosted by Hype man Extraordinaire; DotunKayode, the event had performances from numerous International and Nigerian acts such as; Rapper O.T. Genasis, Casper Nyovest, Ice Prince, Seyi Shay, Olu Maintain, Victoria Kimani, AdeKunle Gold, DJ Caise, DJ Spinall, Ezinne Asinugo from the Afro-British mega dance group –The CEO dancers, Kelly Handsome, May D, Sean Tizzle amongst others. Some of the artistes such as May D and Olu Maintain gave gifts to the audience during their performances, while the deal breaker for the night was American Rapper O.T. Genasis, who conducted a rap freestyle contest which saw winners go home with a collective cash prize of N500,000. The new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, will be presented with the staff of office by the Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola today.
