Peter Okoye dissociates himself from a P-Square show, threatens to sue his brother, Jude

Peter Okoye of P-Square, who has left the group and gone solo, shared the flier above & called out his brother and former manager, Jude, for promoting a P-Square show instead of Rudeboy. He wrote; "Disclaimer: This goes out to all my Fans in Congo Specifically and the entire world in General. My attention has been drawn to a much publicised show holding today 8th July, 2016(VIP SHOW) and tomorrow 9th July, 2016,(in Goma) and on the 17th of August in Kinshasa wherein the name Psquare was used maliciously and mischievously to garner patronage and huge fans attendance as against the stage name Rudeboy which is used when my Twin Brother, Paul, and Co-owner of the stage name Psquare performs alone.

I never endorsed the usage of my name as the contractual terms presented were not favourable to me, thus I am not part of the show booked by our former manager Jude and I wholeheartedly disassociate myself from the unauthorized use of my Co-owned stage name (Psquare) and images for promotional and economic reasons without my express written consent or permission. Contrary to the wild allegations making the rounds that I could not attend the show because I am sick and missed my flight along with my crew members, I wish to counter same and state categorically, that I am 101% healthy.

I shall take appropriate legal actions in the nearest future against the promoters and the sponsors of these events for character assassination and malicious misrepresentation.

Thank you. MR.P (Peter of Psquare)

I am not afraid of incarceration or death - Fayose

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose who is being investigated for allegedly receiving N1.3 billion from the arms deal fraud, says no amount of intimidation and harassment will make him shut his mouth as he is not afraid of incarceration or death. Fayose said this during a rally organized by a newly formed Ekiti State Private Sector Union in Ado Ekiti today July 8th; “They said I collected a sum of N1.3 billion from the office of the former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki to fund my election. Some even said I collected it through Mr Musiliu Obanikoro. Let me put it on records that I did not know Col Dasuki, and Obanikoro has not come out openly to indict me, because he has not returned from abroad. No act of intimidation and harassment will shut my mouth. I will continue to talk about national issues. Somebody from Ekiti gave President Buhari N1.5b for campaign, but today he is being seen as a saint. When you want to campaign or do marriage , people will give you money and my own can’t be an exemption. Would I now return the remaining money after the campaign? I am not afraid of incarceration or death. APC problem is 2018 and as the God liveth, they are going nowhere. We will stand up and defend our state and the money they said they have gotten through anti-corruption should be spent for Nigerians. "

Reveal: How Fayose’s Man Spread Money Into Accounts

Latest revelations have shown that Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose’s associate Abiodun Agbele wired the sum of N1.35billion into three different accounts to pay for four of the five duplexes the governor allegedly bought in Lagos.

The fifth duplex, which cost about N200million, is located in the federal capital, Abuja. According to detectives, the laundering of the cash was staggered to cover up the details from the prying eyes of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

But the EFCC still uncovered the lodgments in the following accounts: FCMB belonging to Siqnachor (0519693019), First Bank of Nigeria (1000070240) and Zenith Bank (1014016919) of Still Earth Limited. The owner of Still Earth Limited, Oyindamola Adeyemi, has claimed that her company neither secured a contract from Fayose, nor offered him kickback.

The facts on how Fayose, through his detained associate Agbele, paid for the duplexes are now contained in EFCC's official documents. A top source said: “The payments were effected through De-Privateer Limited, which is owned by Agbele. The governor and his associate knew that they were involved in money laundering and they cleverly opted to stagger the funds.

“We have retrieved the list of lodgments made by De-Privateer into three accounts, including FCMB belonging to Siqnachor (0519693019), First Bank of Nigeria (1000070240) and Zenith Bank (1014016919) of Still Earth Limited.

The breakdown of some of the remittances is as follows: First Bank—N40m (29/1/15); N39.5m (30/1/15); N132.5 (30/1/ 15); N3.2m (4/2/15); N980, 000(4/2/15); N200m (17/2/15); N47m (13/2/15); N50m (13/2/15). The lodgments in an account in Zenith Bank (1014016919) include N42.5m (9/4/15); N25m (23/4/15); and N229m (6/3/15). Agbele, also through De-Privateer, paid N200million into the account of Siqnachor Integrated Limited in FCMB (0519693019) on March 9, 2015.

The EFCC source added: “You can see what Fayose did with state funds within the first six months in office. This is just a segment of our ongoing investigation of the governor.

“We are yet to shift focus to other areas where state funds were diverted into personal use or associates’ accounts.” Responding to a question, the source said: “We are going ahead with Friday’s interaction with three more people on the five properties bought by the governor.”

Please beg FG to release me, I’m ready for trial – Sambo Dasuki

Former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki has protested his detention for alleged $15bn arms deals facilitated by the Office of National Security Adviser (ONSA), under the watch of the former president, Goodluck Jonathan.

He says the Federal Government should allow his trial to begin. Dasuki is said to have told his associates that he is not disposed to a secret trial.

He insists that based on service rules in a security system, he only obeyed the directive of the President and Commander-in-Chief, former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The ex-NSA, according to The Nation, told his associates: “I am ready for trial because they have destroyed my family’s name and my professional integrity, especially how we successfully fought Boko Haram and recovered major towns and cities, not villages.

They should let my trial start in earnest to enable Nigerians know the truth from falsehood." There is a plan to try Dasuki’s case in secret to protect some of the witnesses. But Dasuki disagreed.

He said: ”I don’t believe in secret trial and there is no basis for it because the government has filed all necessary papers in court and attached the list of witnesses. Since the witnesses have become public knowledge, there is no basis for secret trial." He pleaded Nigerians to help prevail on the federal government to admit him to bail in line with the present administration’s commitment to the Rule of Law.

Dasuki said: “All those who collected funds from ONSA have been granted bail but I am still in custody. I have been granted bail on all the cases filed against me by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and even DSS, but I have not been released. "If all the beneficiaries of the so-called funds are on bail, what have I done wrong? Nigerians should help prevail on the government to grant me bail.

"I cannot rock the boat. I am prepared for trial. We did everything with national and security interest.” Dasuki stressed that he disbursed all the money credited to ONSA based on the directive Jonathan.
