The story was shared by Facebook user, IG Wala. He wrote This woman was allegedly shot by the man that she is working in his house as a maid. The man named Jamilu (with a traditional title as Barden Kano) is said to be from a royal family in Kano but lives in Barnawa Area of Kaduna. In my attempt to know the story behind this photos. I spoke with a Lawyer/Activist in Kaduna who was following up this matter and this is what he said to me: The man was taking an afternoon nap when his little daughter was crying. The cry woke him up and he asked after his wife and the wife was not in the house. He blamed the Nanny for leaving the daughter. So, he brought out two guns (long and short), aimed at the Nanny and fired her. As she managed to step out from the house but, she fell down as a result of amount of blood she was bleeding. The man came down to plead with her and decided to take her to the hospital. He then, quickly called one of the Community leader and told him what happened, the leader called the CP. Now, from all indications, the narrative is changing, the man is going round telling people that he was servicing his gun and the there was accidental discharge which shot at his maid.
To cover up this issue, the Lawyer said Jamilu made offer to bribe his maid and the Community leader.

The National Identity Management Commission NIMC, is responsible for issuing out National ID Cards for Nigerians.
Established by the NIMC Act No. 23 of 2007, the NIMC has the mandate to establish, own, operate, maintain and manage the National Identity Database in Nigeria, register persons covered by the Act, assign a Unique National Identification Number (NIN) and issue General Multi-Purpose Cards (GMPC) to those.
Many Nigerians have successfully received their National ID Cards, however, only a few care to more about their ID Cards.
Obviously, the ID Card looks like an ATM Card, and in reality, it is a MasterCard which can be used worldwide to withdraw money from any ATM, irrespective of the country you are in.
In addition, the Nigerian government has also said that the National ID Card may be used as Visa acceptable by some countries.
But that is a topic for another day because today, I will be discussing on the use of the National ID Card as ATM Cards, used to withdraw money from any bank in any country. Access Bank of Nigeria is the sole bank currently powering the National Id Card. Below are the steps on how to load your National ID Card (MasterCard)
1. Visit any Access Bank branch with your card
2. Complete a deposit slip with the required information
3. Your card will be credited instantly with the value of cash paid For cash payment where Card is not available

EFCC Arrests Iyiola Omisore
Former Osun state deputy governor Senator Iyiola Omisore was declared wanted in May 2016 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, for receiving N700 million from the office of the former National Security Adviser, NSA. KWASU Updates Admission List For 2016/2017
The management of Kwara state University has updated the ealier released 1st Batch of admitted candidates for 2016/2017 academic session. That means more names have been included in the list. Candidates are to follow the instructions below to check their admission status and proceed to make the necessary fees.
How To Check Your Admission Status Candidates are to visit http://www.kwasu.edu.ng/portal/
1. Click on Login under POST-UTME Candidates
2. Provide your JAMB Registration Number and your Surname (as provided during registration) as Username and Password respectively
3. View you Admission Status and continue to payment
4. All newly admitted students MUST note that the following fees are COMPULSORY:
i. Acceptance Fee ii. School Fee iii. Hostel Accommodation Fee iv. Departmental Fee v. Handbook Fee vi. Guidance and Counselling Fee vii. Matriculation Gown Fee viii. Change of Institution Fee (for candidates who did not make KWASU their first or second choice).
5. Admitted students MUST pay ALL their Fees within TWO WEEKS after admission has been given. Failure to pay will lead to the withdrawal of admission.
6. Note that all payments are to be made online from your registration/student’s portal.
7. You are required to download and complete the screening form placed on the University’s website. The completed screening form should be taken along with the original and photocopies of your Results and Certificates of State/Local Government Citizenship to your College Officer for Admission Clearance.
